Volunteers are the heart of our program. Currently, volunteers from our 58
partner congregations shelter, feed, and create a compassionate, enabling
environment for our guest families. Please contact us if your congregation
would like to join the Family Promise of Hawai'i network.
Since we are a 24 hour program, we greatly need volunteers for our family center
in Kailua. Our family center is open 365 days a year from 7am - 5pm. We have
many projects needing volunteer help and would match your desires to our needs;
however, we'd also be delighted if individuals simply wanted to read a book for
a few hours or bring some family or friends and play games. This is a wonderful
opportunity for college students, seniors, stay-at-home spouses, or
professionals looking for a quiet work area. Children welcome- we are a
family-focused organization. The center is generally very quiet on weekdays and
often filled on weekends. Please join our volunteer team!
