About the event
Family Promise of Hawaii invites Oʻahu congregations to join us for a virtual conversation about one of the most pressing needs in our community — safe, temporary shelter for families experiencing homelessness.
Many faith communities have buildings, halls, or rooms sitting underutilized. With minor repairs or light modifications, these spaces could become a lifeline for a family in need of temporary shelter. This town hall is an opportunity to explore what's possible together.
We'll share our proven solutions, what types of spaces could qualify, how the process works, and how Family Promise of Hawaii supports congregations every step of the way.
Format: Virtual via Zoom (link sent via email upon RSVP submission)
Who Should Attend: Congregation leaders, facilities coordinators, and anyone interested in learning more
